Sex education is a fresh take on the run down teen sex comedy genre. It manages to hold a conversation about the subject, find humor in it and laugh at the weirdness of how sex is perceived in the teenage mind and in movies as well.
It is an inclusive show, which feels like it was written by actual people in 2019. Apart from a couple of subplots that feel forced in, The characters are diverse and don't act like they were written by adults pretending to be teenagers or people trying too hard to be relevant.
With a hopeful approach, I just hope more people choose content like this over the approach that shows like "13 reasons why" took. The tone matters.
